Pulse FES ("the App") is developed and published by Rymo Technologies Private Limited, a company registered in India. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the Pulse FES mobile application on Android or iOS devices.

Information We Collect
We collect the minimum information necessary to provide you with a functional and safe experience.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, camera, microphone, or contact list, unless you explicitly provide them for support purposes.

How We Use Your Information
Information collected is used solely for the following purposes:
- Operating the Pulse FES app and maintaining BLE connectivity with your device
- Storing your therapy session history locally on your device
- Identifying and resolving technical bugs or crashes
- Understanding how users interact with the app to guide future improvements
- Communicating with you when you contact us for support
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making.

Health Data & Medical Disclaimer
Stimulation session parameters (intensity, frequency, channel settings, and duration) may constitute health-related data. This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly export or share a session report.
Pulse FES is a companion application for a medical device. It is designed to be used under the guidance of a qualified healthcare professional. The app does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Always consult your clinician before changing any therapy parameters.

Third-Party Services
The app uses the following third-party services, which have their own privacy policies:
- Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC) — crash reporting and error logging. Firebase Privacy Policy →
- Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) — anonymised usage analytics. Data is aggregated and does not identify individual users.
We do not share your information with any other third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.

Data Storage & Security
Session history and device pairing data are stored locally on your device using secure platform-native storage (Android Keystore / iOS Secure Enclave where applicable). Crash and analytics data transmitted to Firebase is encrypted in transit using TLS.
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention
Local session data is retained on your device until you uninstall the app or manually clear it within the app settings. Firebase Crashlytics and Analytics data is retained for up to 90 days per Google's default retention policy. Support correspondence is retained for up to 12 months.

Advertising ID (AD_ID)
The app includes Firebase SDKs which declare the AD_ID permission on Android. This identifier is used solely for Firebase's core functionality (crash deduplication and analytics). We do not use the Advertising ID to serve targeted advertisements. If you wish to opt out, you can reset or limit your Advertising ID in your device settings under Google → Ads (Android) or Privacy → Tracking (iOS).

Children's Privacy
The Pulse FES app is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Opt out of analytics data collection (via device settings)
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
